Anyone have experience with old CPS-1 boards?

A while back, I bought a Magic Sword off of ebay, and it plays great--except no sound. All I get is a very faint but rapid "clicking" sound in the speaker. It's kinda hard to describe, it sounds sort of like when a game freezes up and it keeps on rapidly playing the same part of a sound effect forever.

Anyway, if anyone has any experience in repairing the sound on non-Qsound CPS1 boards, any advice would be appreciated!

I have a couple of bottom boards I haven't scrapped out yet. Send me a pic of the board you have.

The number on the board is 89626A-4 below the Capcom logo, if that helps...
Are there differences in CPS-1 boards besides the Qsound ones?

Yes, the sound section also has a suicide battery on the Q sound boards, I think....

This isn't a qsound board.
