Next Gen Forum Move Recount

Recently, common sense lost when it came time to decide what the fate of the next gen forum should be. Unfortunately, the poll was held in the suggestions forum, where I believe it did not get enough exposure and may have been missed, as it only received slightly over 60 votes. If it wasn't such a close race, I would not ask for a second poll, but because of the small difference in votes and the relatively obscure location of the poll, I think we should do it again. The difference this time will be the location of the poll. It should be visible and accessible from both the Next Gen and UT forums so more people can get a chance to become aware of it and vote.

In addition, because the poll was an anonymous one, we can't be certain that miscreants with a lot of time of their hands like Wizkid didn't tamper with the vote using fake accounts.

Thanks for your concern but it really wasn't that close of a race. A total of 38 voted to either keep as a forum or sub forum vs. 24 voters who wanted Next-Gen dissolved.

Considering its my birthplace... one day. Perhaps soon. As in soon, perhaps next year. Perhaps spring. Perhaps for a conference that's been already scheduled. Perhaps.

I thought about this a moment after I posted this poll, but I was all "fuck it, it's not like this is going to change a thing."

There should be an option in the pole for "I dont care...I didnt care enough to vote the first time and it doesnt matter to me enough to vote in another pole about it"

I figure if you dont like a part of the forum dont use it...and if you do like it you can find it whether it has its own space or is a sub forum.
