So... it took 7 years for the forum to finally get some consensus that spewing racist nonsense is bullshit?
I remember when I was being told by the mob not to ban people for saying stupid shit like Fighter123 (and, frankly, much worse).
I'm not complaining about the ban --quite the opposite: I am going to be much --much-- more willing to take action if I start to see things that I find to cross the line; and that includes tasteless humor. Why? Because I believe that's what Fighter123 was using --and all tasteless humor like that belies what people likely think (even if they say otherwise "ah, I was just fucking around, that's all"). Obviously, if you want to do that in real life --more power to you, as many people from all sorts of backgrounds do.
In the future, on the forums, I'm now using this action as reason to warn and, if necessary, ban people who violate a certain level of decency (which for our forum is relatively low, and we like it like that).

This guy would argue back to defend remarks he said, so he was not joking. Then he'd lay off once he knew he'd gone to far, only to do it again once he knew he was in the clear.
Hey, I'd vote to bring him back if it sets a rule here. Absolute 100% free speech in the war room. Even in the war room, I've often held back on my post because I thought "ok, that would be pushing it too far" (aka..showing self control and common sense). So, as stated, I'd accept Uri back with open arms if I knew for a fact there was never a such thing as "going too far" in the war room.
