Hi all,

I recently purchased a Jrok v4.1 Component encoder and I would like to install it in my NeoGeo AES.

Has anyone here done that before?
The main question for me is to know where I should take the RGB as well as the 5v output.
My guess is that I can take the RGB directly from the video output of the NeoGeo AES.

Thanks in advance for your advises!

The encoders come with instructions and they're usually very clear. You can do a search in the tech forum for it. Either under jrok or neobitz as the signal points are the same. They just differ with the board revision.

AV socket outputs substandard RGB.... Even on the best Stock systems. On many systems, it won't even work with your encoder.

My recommendation:
Do do the RGB mod and use an external encoder.

Alternate method:
Tap the resistors and do it internally
