I'm currently in the process of converting a generic jamma cabinet inti an MVS, but
I've got a couple of roadblocks keeping me from my goal at the minute and I need some help.

The first one is kind of simple, I'm kind of embarassed to be asking this but,
what is the rating of the fuse that I need to put between the power cord
and the AC line filter?

The second one is, where can I get the wiring harness's that connect the mv-led to the mvs mainboard and the harness that connects the speakers to the stereo
connector?

I've been looking all over and still can't seem to find a place that would sell these.
At the least, How about just a place where I can get the connectors so that I can
build the harness's myself.

Which board are you going to be using...they call for differnt amperages and hence would benefit from different fuse ratings.

You could scower ebay on a regular basis but you will probably end up having to make your own.

Mouser, digikey, just about any online electronics parts distributor should carry them...not sure of an exact part number right now though, I would have to examine mine and look one up.

I forgot about adding the board type, it's an mv1-f.

I'm also using an isolation transformer that will be sending power to an
electrohome G07 if that helps.

I'll check the places you mentioned for the connectors, I didn't want to have to
solder the harness onto the motherboard.

Thanks for the help.
I really didn't expect a response so soon.

Well, I found the connector I needed.

http://www.jst-mfg.com/product/pdf/eNH.pdf

I tried to find it at mouser and digikey, but their catalog is just freakin massive
and I wasn't sure of the exact name of the connector.
After about an hour of searching, I gave up and looked at the MV-ELA board
that I have that still has it's harness attached and noticed a brand name,
so I looked it up and found the companies website as well as the type and
name of the connector itself.

The manufacter doesn't sell the part directly so I looked it up in digikey's
catalog since mouser didn't carry the brand and found it, which is great,
but I have to order a hundred of them.

Is there any intrest in these harnesses?
I could probably make about 30 or 40 of them in my spare time
and put them up on ebay.

I kind of hit another roadblock.

The connectors that digikey has are only single pin,
while the connectors for the led boards are 13 pin.

I've spent hours searching for these connector and came
upon a couple of sites selling them, but they only sell by the
thousand and they want me to place a request for the parts
without knowing how much they will charge for them.

This is starting to get kind of irritating.
