control panel wiring question

i know this sounds retarded, but im trying to take apart my control panel for painting, and i cant seperate the player one/two [red & white] connections that lead into the jamma harness connection... know what im saying? they are plastic square connections, and i see a small clip on both sides of the connection, but how can you depress them and apply enought pressure to seperate them at the same time? any help would be appreciated; thank you.

I think you just pull up on a tab or press in a tab usually, should be pretty simple , take a picture if not.
