Asked a long time ago about the wiring on a Neo controller port. Looking at the page I had for reference, it lists D as being both pin 4 and 9. Which one is it?

Doesn't matter...I always selected to use pin 4, and never had any problems. I think you can connect both to be safe.

Either pin will work, I have used the 9 pin for CPS-2 games when building joystick boxes or wiring a cab up for double duty.

Pin 4 is the only pin for the Neo Geo button D. Pin 9 has nothing to do with it and will obviously not work and who says otherwise has no clue.
