I have an old-style joystick and if move it around a lot, the ball on the stick keeps unscrewing, and sometimes it comes off when in the middle of a game. Does anyone know what do to do bout this?

lol, that's what I was thinking. ...and why not, it's allready un-sellable and it's not like you would ever really need to unscrew it again anyway.

My old-style joystick jus' keeps screwing off and when I play sometimes, it comes off and fucks me up while I'm playing. Does anyone else have this problem? I have another old-style joystick and it dosen't do that.

Just grab a pair of pliers, maybe with a piece of cloth so you don't scratch the shaft, and tighten the ball on as much as you can. You'll find it won't be so easily coming off after that, and you don't risk serious damage trying to remove it if/when you ever try and do serious maintenance on your stick.

I have one older stick that does this and yes, it is annoying. I've tried using (gently) the plier method to tighten it extra tight, but in the end the ball keeps coming off. Glue may be your only option, but this is an option I refuse to use.

Two drops of super glue will hold it tight AND when you want to get it back off for any reason, the cloth + pliers thing works fine.

Twist it on as tight as possible, that should hold it on. I used to have the same problem until I did this.

I have the same problem with my hori sticks. The easiest option is a very small dap of super glue.
