Do me a favor and tell me what you think about this idea I have for a graphic novel..

The premise is this:

A 17 year old girl, on the day of her high school graduation, upon returning home from her last day of school, recieves a letter addressed to her. The letter reads: "Hello Laura, congratulations on your graduation. We knew you could do it. Now however, we must put our plan in to action. Your a woman now, and more importantly, you're a dead woman now. Hope you have the chops to be a proper piece of prey! See you sooner than you think. - Your new friends."

She quickly, over the course of the next couple of hours, comes to understand this is all too real. She flees the inferno that becomes her home and finds herself on an oddessy of near death misses and encounters with overwhelmingly disturbed psychopaths and would-be allies.

Good idea or bad?

Sounds like it COULD BE good. It's a somewhat generic idea that could be made great in it's execution.

It's all in the execution.

I agree, could be good....

i wouldn't sympathize with a 17 year old girl.
i would sympathize with a middle aged man with his family being
held hostage while he's being hunted for some past indescrection
in the past he can't even remember (whoa. shades of old boy)

The letter is too verbose.

Well, you don't really write snuff, you more just play it by ear. Which reminds me, I have to get the vid of the nun getting chainsawed to Antonio in Brazil by next Wed.
