Poison (Capcom's Final Fight) mini action figure I just finished. 20 points of articulation. 3.2 inches tall (without hat). I tried my hand at making double jointed knees for the first time with this figure; the experiment worked out pretty well, so it's probably something I'll continue to do in the future. Shoulda made the pelvis larger/wider while I was at it too . . .

For comparison purposes, below are three images of Poison from different sources. The first, on the top, is Capcom's official art for Poison from the Final Fight arcade game. The second, on the bottom left, is Poison's sprite from the Japanese Super Famicom (SNES) port of Final Fight. The last, on the bottom right, is Poison's sprite from the Street Fighter III series.

That most certainly IS a man.

Probably just a size limitation, but man, talk about a horse face :tickled:

FormlessOne: You guessed right, it's paper. Pink notepad paper to be exact. It's the same technique I used for the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Viera Red Mage I made previously. You cut out around 200 individual strands of hair from the paper, and then glue them on the head into the desired hair style and cut it to the length you want. The approach has it's limitations, of course. Real/doll hair, which I've used on some previous figures, is kind of difficult to work with at this scale and sculpted hair looks nice, but not terribly realistic. I'll probably continue to experiment with different approaches to hair.

Nesagawa: I'd say the face's look is a combination of both the limitations of the scale and my (lack of) sculpting expertise. It's true that it's difficult to get small facial features on such a small scale, but I think I could have done better.

Zombiesara: I think I made her rack too big myself. I try to avoid making huge breasts on all my female figures, even though it's the kneejerk reaction thing to do.

Actually, I have to agree that the masculine looking face helps to emphasize Poison's...unique qualities. Nice job!

Man I really like it, but the face issue again, why don't you try a bigger size for sculpting? if you are already good doing this figures at this scale a bigger size will really help on the details, anyways a great job overall :)
