I have a new blue vers, phantom1 and I noticed a couple of things. On last blade 2 and waku 7 mvs, when the camera scales back(2 opponents are far away from eachother) the backrounds get white distortion lines running through them, almost like it cant process the backrounds fast enough. When you approch the other player and the camera moves in close, the lines go away, and the picture is perfect. My RotD mvs works perfectly with no flaws while playing through the phantom, and SS2 (aes) camera never does this. Does anyone else see this at all? Is there anything I can do??

it is a great poll. I wish they had added the question:

If you had graphics problems with your phantom, was your ngh unit modded or unmodded....or which board revision is your ngh unit if you had graphics issues with the P1

mebbe next time :)

So is there a serial number count that dictates whether or not you have a blue phantom with scaling issues? Like 1-5,000 units have issues 5000+ does not? Or is it just completely random?

That's something I'd definately like to know.

Personally, I'm holding onto my black Phantom with a death grip. Works 100%, no problems.

As far as I know the only games some people has mentioned not working in the Phantom are Windjammers and Metal Slug X, although some other people managed to make them work.

And yes, many people has mentioned that kind of graphical glitches in those games, so they are a pretty common flaw of the Phantom.

I have a home neo with serial number 11,000 something (listed in profile), the latest bios chip installed, and a blue phantom converter. I haven't had ANY problems whatsoever with any games I've tried including ROTD, Windjammers, SS4, ect. I did have a problem with windjammers but there was a "dry socket" on one of the roms in the cart itself.
