What is the top wattage pull on the MV1-B?

I would say about 15 and thats pretty high for the +5v as it usually wont go past 1.2-1.5A. For the +12v I would say about 24 watts as I dont think it would pull more than 2A.

But remember the more stuff you add on like LEDS and other things it just adds to the draw.

Minimal current draw for an LED though... typically 20ma (.02 Amps) or less unless you get the super bright ones. Even those draw very little current compared to a regular bulb.

No LEDs on this one. Would just have to consider extra +5v from the encoder, and the same for each controller.

I was more talking abot the nut jobs that put like 20 million blue LEDs everywhere cause its "cool".

You actually dont really need the +5v for the controllers but its good to have it there for custom stuff. Do the newer Neo sticks require the 5v line?

So it's just the pads? I thought the original sticks didn't need it, but the pros and pads needed the +5v.

I'm making sticks later anyway, so I'll put it in either way.

Id say closer to 2 amps for the 5 volts, and less than 1 amp for the 12 volts (at full volume, thats if your using the 12 volts).

I've had a MV1-FZ pull 1.2A on the +12v before, of course this is at a very loud volume.

So I don't need to start a new thread, which wire on the pro stick is the +5v line? Apparently running on pin eight, but I wouldn't be able to find out what wire without butchering the line, or a multimeter that I don't own.

*Think I found it, can someone confirm it being the yellow wire.

You should get a multimeter, you should never go by wire color as a lot of times the colors can change but the pinout remains the same.

pretty much what I figured then. I can get a discount on multi meters, but for whatever reason, been holding off.
