Hey guys, bear with me here I'm new at this.

I have been having some issues lately with an arcade monitor in a used cab that I bought a little while ago. The cab is a dynamo showcase with a 33"/34" sharp image monitor I believe(still researching this). Basically I get screen stutter(vertical) on cps2/3 games shortly after the monitor warms up (this seems to stabalize after a minute or two), and the screen seems to resize briefly during a flash of bright color - such as a super finish in street fighter 3 or between rounds. I also notice a similar brief screen resize sometimes when using joystick inputs, which causes me to suspect the grounding wires or maybe the jamma harness? When I set up a Naomi board I get constant vertical screen stutter that never stabalizes.

What can I do to troubleshoot these problems?

1. Tweak the vertical hold on the monitor?
2. Get a cap kit and recap the monitor?
3. Check the grounds/Jamma harness?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the monitor have a pot or do you need to access the factory set up ?

Yes the monitor has a pot setup wired to the front area, but the vert hold dial isn't present herefor some reason. I think I might have to get to the main pcb of the monitor to get to the controls that I need to tweak.

Does this sound like a voltage problem? I was a little surprised that a naomi cart setup had a different effect. CPS 2/3 seem to have similar symptoms, but as I said before they aren't as pronounced.
