A while back I posted my sister step daugther broke my cps 3 NG cd in half well that little monster topped herself today and there's more.
Yeap I was installing a unibios last night into a 4 slot I was going to sell to a member and when I finished I didn't reattach the metal and left it out in two pieces. Got up this morning and went to work and was planing to finish putting the 4 slot back together and wrap it. When I got home today near my cab which also had a soon to come issue was the bottom half of the 4 slot mobo broken in half on the floor and the top half broken in half on the table, I was like WTF
I walked over to my manager and ask who the fuck has been in my apartment because there was no obvious forced entry and he answer back he let me sister in who kid needed to go to the rest room. I then reminded this dum ass I never authorize him to let anyone in my place and told him that damage resulted as a result of his decision and I would be taking the matter up with the property owner
I went back in my place and check my motion cam and confirmed the kid for no reason knock the board off the table and stomp it for the hell of it. This brat is 7 and should have know better. My sister walks over with no concern of what has happened and put the brat shoe back on and in the process kick the broken bottom board across the room. But get this, she sits the kid on the table ontop of the top half of the 4 slot and breaaks that too, then she swats the thing out the way like nothing, do you believe this shit. Then she just leave, no note or anything.
I call her up immediately and confront her about the situation and she denies the child did anything and she herself didn't touch anything, a grow woman lying. I call her out about about the video and she didn't believe me, I then told her what she and her kid was wearing today and her story changed to the board was already broke when she got there. I was at this point reminding myself to watch my mouth because she is family and calmly informed her to stop bull shitten me, keep in mind a little over a month ago the same kid broke my cps3 cd and I let it go. She reluctantly agree to pay for the board and said I just give you $50 because that how much she seen nintendo stuff go for. I tell her she own me $150 because thats how much I was going to sell it for. At this point the conversation took a turn for the worse and needless to say I don't think I will be talking to her for a long while.
Well that was a very bad ending to my day, oh wait there's more. Got a package from bill burger today, a bunch of boards. Well usually I plug new stuff into my supergun but because of the heated conversation I had earlier I didn't feel like it so I just test with my astro. Well guess what a street fighter rainbow I got from him advertised as working toast my power supply in my astro, what are the fucking odds of this happening right now especially since the stuff I get from him is as described. Got to see nice smoke coming out of it and all. Yanked the plug and prayed it didn't get the monitor.
Went in my storage cabinent got out my emergency replacement power supply ( yeah I know what you are thinking what are the chance I would need a emergency astro power supply ) Installed the power supply and the monitor boots up fine, best news of the day.
Here is my tech question, do you think the monitor still might have been damaged or do you think the problem was just isolated to the 5 and 12 volt line. I am not familar with astro cab like I am with north american cabs. I bought my emergency power supply by being at the right place at the right time, does anyone know where a can buy another.
