well on my selling thread, most people have seen my FS progear thread and the problem my supergun is having. SSF has told me to "lower the volume on the cps2" and try to use a different monitor to test it on. I have done all these options and at the end, He REFUSES to look at the supergun i bought from him. and oh BTW, this isnt the first time i had a problem with him. Last year, I bought a rgb monitor that was broken in transit. What did he do, as the seller part of the side, for the file claim? NOTHING. I had to call UPS, file the claim, and all he did was Sit back on his ass and collect the refund check. Even so, he didnt refund me until the check was sent to him a month later. and he kept the check amount disclosed. During the whole file claim process, it took 4-5 months and i asked him to help me in this file claim and asked him many times to call UPS and it took him almost 2 months and he told me to" stop pming me" about this matter. Now currently witht he supergun problem, he offers no help in fixing this supergun and straight up blantantly tells me HE CANT HELP ME.

What a FUCKEN STAND up guy, right?

Wow, that really sucks. I've personally had no problems with him. He sent me a modded region and s-video Genesis. It's worked great ever since I got it. Best of luck getting this whole things sorted out.

Im sorry that you've had so many bad experiences with him My.

My offer still stands to repair your supergun at the same WW price as I charged for the Strikers III pcb repair :).

you must be joking.

Ok, how to sum this up with what has really happened.

1) I sold My a Supergun over a year ago.
2) earlier in the year he wanted an RGB monitor and an RGB output on his SG. So he sent it in with some money and I gave him a GREAT deal on 19" WG setup and I threw in free speakers and did all the SG modding for practically nothing. I spent $75 to ship the monitor because I paid extra to get $1k insurance and PAID the employee extra money to pack it even better than I had (and for extra bubble wrap).

UPS broke the monitor in shipping.

My had to bring the damaged goods to the UPS Store before anything could be done (that's how insurance claims work). I then called and talked with the UPS Store I shipped from. The manager and I spoke many many many times and I rushed him as much as I could to get the refund faster (since I told My it takes time to file a claim and he would not stop PMing me every single day). Finally the check came through after months of talking with the manager (and My knows this, I didn't just sit on my ass and do nothing).

I sent My his full $235 back (which included the cost of the SG and speakers and mods that he kept). I gave those to him for free since the refund took so long.

So I start getting some rude emails this week from My demanding help on his SG I sold him a year ago. I troubleshot it with him and gave him some suggestions to get it working. If it works playing ketsui there is no reason why it shouldnt work playing his CPS2 games (which I tested the SG on a year ago and so I know it works on them). but the SG works pure and simple, and even if it didn't I don't think demanding me to do more work a year after the sale is really the way to go. I'm an easy going guy, had he been polite to me I would just take a look at it to be nice. but this is nuts.

*shrug* thats what I get for bending over backwards for people and refunding them more than I should.

Sounds like par for the course here. Personally i wouldn't trust 68k with anything, he is a liar and if you try to help him out in anyway he will bash you for it. Imo i'd stay far away from him, any dealings with him will only put you at risk. I went out of my way a few months ago to try and help him, and now look what hes doing. When the daytime soaps aren't on his local free-to-air tv stations hes in here trying to start drama. Save yourself the problems and just send your stuff to someone who knows what they are doing(kpj, jmkurtz, channelmaniac, etc) you'll be glad you did.

i even offered to PAY him to look at it. Man you're the Joke. you bought a Espgaluda 2 DVD and i sent it to you on the SAME week.(even when the file claim was in process, WHAt i coulda done is wait until my check came in and then sent u off the dvd, but hey i was anice guy and still sent. and then you tried to FLIP it on the shmups forum. didnt work. As far as business and service, you have no problem recieving the money but as helping people out as far as your homemade shit goes, you go dumb founded. I cant expect people to deal with you in the future. During the hole file claim process, I kept my mouth shut just you wont rip me off. BTW, the wells gardner monitor look like Absolute crap. "minor" burns in,eh?ive had many transaction on here and at shmups, but your antics are just sneaky. I believe ive been very patient with you but 6 months just to get a file claim? just admit it, you didnt care what happened to the monitor. granted you paid "extra" to get it well packaged. When all said and done, dont u think u could have possibly done a little bit more?

?

1) what does me buying an espgaluda 2 dvd have to do with anything?
2) I refunded ALL your money as fast as I could through UPS and let you keep EVERYTHING.
3) I helped you troubleshoot your SG even though you continue to be rude to me for no good reason.

I have bent over backwards for you and this is the treatment I get. :/

youre not making any sense. UPS broke the monitor, not me. I had to wait for them to deliver the refund so I could pass it on to you. Pretty simple and standard procedure. You're saying you should have held my Galuda2 purchase money hostage because I was waiting for the UPS refund? Thats pretty immature.

The SG I made was very good quality, and it still works as you admit. It just isn't working for CPS2 stuff right now but instead of politely asking for my help you sent me rude PMs making demands and then started this thread. It's not like I sold the SG with a 1 year+ warranty on it but I'm usually very easygoing about these things and will do repairs for free (ask any other customer I've ever had). However, being belligerent and starting threads like this makes it very hard for me to help you out.

how are you bending over backwards if you came up on $1k worth of free insurance money?

sounds like an insurance fraud to me.

UPS declared value (insurance) is free for the first $100. It is then another $1.50 for the next $100, and less than a $1 for every $100 thereafter. You can declare a package for $1000 for under $10 and then have the peace of mind that if you need to file a claim, you can file it all the way up to this limit, freight inclusive. You don’t get the full value, only the value you prove in terms of replacement or repair.

There is no insurance fraud, just a way to protect yourself in case something goes wrong. When we ship irrigation control panels at work, we insure them for full retail value. However, if something goes wrong we only claim the actual discounted value that the distributor was charged on the linked invoice, and that will fluctuate but almost always be below the full declared value we initially chose.

Sincerely,

Mikhail

points well taken, but do consider this:

how do you know that he didn't claim the full amount for it?

also, how would you come up with a broken monitor and a couple of busted speakers' worth?

because I gave UPS the Wells Gardner website link when I shipped the item (they inspect the package to see what is in it and put the value on record before it is shipped). They saw it was a used WG with burn and that it obviously wasn't worth $1k, but I put that value on it because they recommended it for safety (so I paid extra to be nice). The bending over backwards part is in reference to the fact that I paid $10 insurance +$30 for extra packing materials and to have the employee pack it with me. I did everything I could think of to make sure the tube didn't break but sometimes it's just not good enough when shipping glass.

Yes, if you buy a supergun from me more than a year ago and you want free repairs but aren't even nice asking about it and start thread like this....you won't get free repairs. These are my antics. And if UPS breaks a package in transit I bendover backwards to make sure you get a full refund. Those are my antics too.

and here's a copy of the pms between us because it seems My here is over exaggerating things:

is this with ketsui or the cps2 stuff?

thats very strange behavior thats happening. if the SG is working with ketsui theres no reason in the world it shouldnt work with the cps2. even if it was a sync issue, im pretty sure i installed the sync splitter with it. try lowering the volume on the cps2 baord to see if that helps anything. the only think i can think of right now is its sucking up too much juice from the PSU via the audio power (+12v).

do u wanna take a look at it, see what u can do with the supergun

it doesnt sound like theres anything to look at. have you tried turning down the volume? if its working with ketsui theres no reason it shouldnt be working with cps2 stuffs. all the same parts are needed for both and the PSU is more than powerful enough. if anything, your TV may be rejecting the signal. have you tried connecting it to another monitor? that might help.

yes i have tried turning down the volume and i have tried it on different TV. can u help me, yes or no.

doesnt sound like i can help, sorry.

Then he started this thread.
