Windjammers MVS has problems, why?

I'm using the newer phantom 1 converter on my US AES home system to play MVS Windjammers. The game plays fine, but the disc's graphics are messed up and garbled. I don't know if it's incompatable with the new phantom 1 or if my cart is defective or a bootleg. It has the official MVS boardset in it so I don't think it's a bootleg. I have cleaned the contacts of the MVS game very well also. All my other MVS games work fine but this one. Did I just get a bum cart? Any halp on what may be causing this would be appreciated.

I've gone through two WJ MVS carts and had the same problems as you. I could never figure out if my debug bios was causing the malfunctions or if it was the Phantom 1.

Ok, I wanted to post an update since I'm not the only one with this problem. I took apart my MVS Winjammers cart, and used a bristle brush to vigorously clean both boards, including the contacts, with hot soapy water. I let the boards completely dry (this is important :) ), re-assembled and the game works without any problems now! I guess it was just dirty or not making good contact somewhere. spock
