Hey guys,

I recently won this auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250163555927&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=015

Okay I'm at my new place now. The cab is still in LA. After talking it over with the seller, he said he will now allow shipping but he will not arrange it.

Anyway, all I am asking is that you pay me the $416 ($400 after PayPal fees) which is exactly what I paid for it. If you pick it up, that's all you pay. If you want to get it shipped, you will have to find a shipping company that can pick it up from the seller in Walnut, California and deliver it to you. You are responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. The will deliver it within 50 miles of his location for $100 as well.

If you want it shipped, you will probably want to use a company like NAVL or you can try freight101.com and get a quote there. The information you'll need is as follows:

Item location zip code: 91789
Your location
Dimensions: W: 29.5 x D: 35.6 x H: 56.8 (inches)
Weight: Approximately 200 lbs

$400 for a New Astro is really cheap. I was happy to win it, but sad that I can't put it anywhere in my new 750 square foot apartment (which is only the third floor of a building with no elevator by the way).

Anyway, hit me up if you want it. I also have some Sega original (not licensed by Sega) Astro City panels so I could sell you one of them if you want to replace the ugly one that is on the machine right now.

oh man, I was watching that auction and was happy to see you win it because I remembered you were looking for a cab. Sorry to hear you can't keep it. I hope you get this sorted out, Astros are so nice you shouldn't have much trouble.

Thanks for the kind words, Alec. Yeah it breaks my heart. I was really excited to get it. I even have some original Sega (not licensed by Sega) Astro panels that I was going to use to replace the fucked up panel, but I guess I'll have to save them or sell them.

Also, since it's pickup only, I was having a friend doing the pick up and shipping for me, but all that work to get it here and then to have to pack it up to move it to a place where I might not be able to fit it, is just a lot of worries during a period where I got a new job, had to find an apartment, and had to move within a 2 week period...It's just more than I have time/energy to deal with right now : /

Hopefully someone in the LA area will take me up on this. Maybe when I'm settled in, and arrange some stuff, I will realize I have room for it and I'll kill myself, but it's not looking that way for the moment.

Thanks, borg.

Yeah, it is like all the cabs are in Cali, which is why I was going to have it shipped here. Well if I don't sell it this week, I'll just ship it here and find a place to store it or something.

I don't know. You'd have to call up a shipping company like NAVL or somewhere to get that information. Here's the information you'll likely need.

Item location zip code: 91789
Your location:
Dimensions: W: 29.5 x D: 35.6 x H: 56.8 (inches)
Weight: Approximately 200 lbs

I've also updated the first post to so that the necessary information for people to get a shipping quote is available.

People have been asking for pics and prices of the panels I have available.

I have two types of Sega made Astro City panels for sale.

1) Brand new direct from Sega 2L8B panel.

2) Used but mint Sega 2L16B panel taken from a Virtua Stick Pro.

If you would like either of these panels, I will sell it along with the New Astro for $450 total. This price includes shipping of the panel from me to you.

A lot of people are a little confused. I have never been in possession of the cab. I won it off eBay and was going to have it shipped from California to me in Maryland, but then I moved to Virginia for a job and have an apartment that's really too small to house 2 cabs (I have a Naomi Universal right now).

As for the monitor, the seller said the monitor has no noticeable screen burn, but I personally would take that with a grain of salt since it's pretty rare for cabs to have no burn-in. I would guess that he means that you can't see it during a game. The pictures on the eBay page showing the screen are not great, but at this time, I cannot get the seller to take more since he really has no incentive to since he already received the money from me.

I have 100% feedback on every forum that I use, including Neo-Geo, Shoryuken, shmups, killercabs, and eBay. All forums and eBay I use Paik4Life as my username so it should be easy to find me. Here's my eBay: http://myworld.ebay.com/paik4life/

If you have a good number of feedbacks and have a 100% feedback I will allow you to pay half up front and then half after you pick up the cab from the seller. All other people must pay before picking up.

PM Send. I'll take it. I want the 2L8B panel.

Now, to get it to MI...

Anyone in LA want to move it from Walnut to a frieght depot for me? Trading shockboxes, prints, Sanwa hardware, anything I have, or throw a few bucks at ya (as long as it's cheaper than the $100 the seller wants to transport it.)
