First off exactly what benefit will I get from using the debug bios?

I know it changed regions and console/mvs but what else other than that?

Does it also do cheats like the Uni-Bios and if not is it at all possible to install the uni on an AES?

Lastly is there a site that has shots of every screen of the debus bios in action so I can see what all it does prior to me getting and installing it?

It allows to change regions from USA to Europe to Japan. Also, it allows to switch between MVS and Home cart mode. When you're in MVS mode, you have unlimited credits, because you insert as many coins as you want by pressing select+a on the 2nd controller. You can activate the debug switches as well, which can give you hidden characters or other things. It's very good thing to have in your home cart system. There are many that are out there, but, I got mine from the Neostore for $17.00. But, you need to have some soldering skills, in able to install it, because you need to unsolder the bios in the system and then solder the debug bios where the old bios was. If you don't have soldering skills, you can take it to somebody, that has some soldering skills, or ask somebody on these forums to install it for you like Kenny Boy.

Does it have cheats listed in a menu?

Also is it at all possible to install the uni-bios on the AES?

Hmmm?,

Mine must be an older version then, I have to push select & C on 2P to access the menu. I think I bought my AES System when SS2 first came out on homecart. Still, it is a great thing, just found out I can use the MVS mode on SS4 without running into the error message. It is worth it, alot better than dealing with the measly 5 credits they give you in AES mode.

To answer your other question, it isn't possible to install a uni-bios on an AES, it only works on MVS hardware.

My Debug BIOS uses select + 2P C as well. I bought it several months ago.

I hate to be grammar nazi, but damn man...do you even USE periods?

Just a quick question for whoever might know since we are on the topic of the debug bios;

Why isn't the debug bios faq section here ever updated anymore? Lack of interest?
