I have plenty of parts laying around to make some DC sticks, everything from Happ, Sanawa, and Seimetsu, as well as some pre built plastic enclosures and hand built wooden enclosures.

Anyway, I am seeing if anybody would be interest in custom DC sticks. The prices would range depending on the parts, though I am thinking $60-70ish for the Sanawa/Seimetsu stuff, and less for the stuff using the Happ/Blaze parts.

My sticks would include built in memory as well, and two expansion ports if you'd like..

Here is an example of one of the cheaper sticks I am building it is made with Blaze parts, and doesn't have the art on it yet (obviously), and would run about ~$40..

if there is any interest, let me know in this thread, and I can do custom orders or build more if there is enough people interested in buying!

Just a question for future reference, do you do custom sticks for other systems? If so, which ones?

Awesome, I may keep you in mind for either one of those. Would they be around the same price you think?

yeah, the only different parts I would be using would be different controller pcb's, and they al cost around the same price.

I am interested in this. If you're still interested in this project, let me know-- I'm not sure if you needed to find more buyers before making these, etc.

Shipping is a factor, and I won't know for sure whether or not I'll have the money for this for another week or so. Hopefully that's not a problem.

I'll shoot you a PM then if things are going ahead on my end.

I might be interested in the cheaper models. 40 dollars is a bit steep, but I could see myself paying 30 for one.

PMed everybody back! This looks like a go, and I am going to make a few more once I purchase a few more buttons from a member on this board. I can mod some sticks as well, which I didn't mention earlier.

Sorry, can't do.. Any other stick builders would offer one at ~$150, granted its using sanawa which is a small premium, but not $110 worth. I think $40 is on the low side, actually for a custom stick considering cost of materials and labor.

A decent stick is worth it

$30?

You can't get a shitty third party stick for that.

Wow, that must be some pretty strong crack you're smoking. Welcome to neo-geo.com :lolz:

Free bump for muffinman. $40 really isn't much for a custom stick.

Just curious, what kind of wood is used to make those casings? Was it something that was already pre-cut for something else or were those pieces specifically cut for these sticks?

Also, do you use any material besides wood for the sticks?

Jeff- I haven't really been doing much as far as stick building is concerned as of lately.. Can't say I do, though I would like to make one this weekend.. I am in need of going to a print shop to finish two up for a good example.

JDD-These pieces of wood were cut by myself with wood I bought from lowes (no idea what kind it is, sorry. As far as material goes, I just use wood and Lexan/plexiglass.. I do have a plastic enclosure for a stick where all you would need to do is drill a few holes for the buttons and you are pretty much set.. but for the sticks I build I just do it with wood and lexan.
