... or does anyone else have difficulty moving from the home cart/CD controllers to the ones on an MVS cab?

Been playing around with Samurai Shodown on my new cab, and damned if I can't do half the moves with any consistency! <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

But then I popped the game in on my home cart, and I'm busting out the specials left and right (FYI - using the original home cart style controllers).

I know it's not the cab's sticks, as I checked them through the system tests, and they're all registering correctly, so my only guess is that it has something to do with the joystick's tightness/responsiveness, the difference in the button placement, or something like that.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else ever experienced these kinds of problems.

I too have the same problem on my one slot mvs machine when playing certain games as some specials take about 4 attempts to pull off,but as there is a slot in the pcb for joypads to plug into I plugged my old neo cd pad into it and the moves flow freely, guess its because my machine is very old and the joypads have had a lot of use in the arcade and the mechanism has gone a bit!
