my bad dealings with Bild420

ill tell my story regarding bild420. i enlisted bild420 to change the battery on my usa 3rd strike and reflash my japanese 3rd strike carts. this was on 3/07. he changed his stories different time saying he said he shipped it to japan then the following day he says he needs to ship it out. he then states the cart were stolen with money order he sent. why do you send out things without insurance or use paypal/bank transfer for payments?

he also stated the usa third strike cart died when i mailed it to him because i didnt use antistatic bags. im willing to bet my life i sent it in antistatic bags... would bild420 do the same? i dont think so.

he agreed to repay me the 170 (total for reflash and battery change) in 2 installments in 6/07. he paid me 85.00 on 6/1 but couldnt pay me on 6/15 because he said rent is due and he has no food. i try to understand and give him more time. i pm daily and started using foul language with me. he said i should only pm saying i got the 85.00. this was said on 7/26. its now, 8/29 and he has not paid me yet.

also he has sold things on ebay including a usa 3rd strike kit and his sega astro cab but still hasnt paid me yet. also he has money for a sega amp but cant pay me back. if i knew like abdul he is flakey and a scammer, I WOULD NOT HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH HIM in the first place. dont call me a noob as i have a 100% buyer rating on ebay. just because i dont buy or sell alot of things here on ng doesnt make me a noob.

First off, Hines, go fuck yourself. You tried to rob my boy Dan (D7) on neo-geo.com for a 1slot motherboard. He had to do a chargeback to get his loot back.


Back to the subject at hand.

Denis (borgjedi) contacted me for a 3rd strike USA battery swap and a 3rd Strike Japanese cartridge revival. I gave him my rates and explicit instructions on how to ship the two carts to me (use an anti static bag, wrap bubble wrap around that). The games arrive, and the "working" usa cartridge has an anti static bag taped around the cartridge, not the cartridge in the bag, and BIG SURPRISE, it suicided on its way to me. Denis didnt' follow my simple instructions, and tried to hold me faulty for his dead cartridge. Mind you, he did not pay for insurance, or follow simple instructions when sending the USA cartridge.

Next, I took the money that he sent me, got a USPS postal money order and sent his dead japanese cartridge and money to my connection in Japan for a reflash. The package, which was sent Airmail Letter Post, and unfortunately got lost in the mail and never made it to its destination. It never turned up in Japan or got sent back to me, rendering the Japanese dead cartridge and the $170 money order lost.

So Denis gets all pissed about this, and I assure him to not worry, I'd compensate him since I felt bad. So, in order to compensate him, I said I'd refund his $170, AND send back his dead USA cartridge AND a dead Jap cartridge from my collection AND give him a $35 Naomi wire loom that he was looking for. I sent back all of the goods, and this MOTHERFUCKER tries to do a paypal chargeback on me. Fortunately for me, it was not within the alloted paypal window.

Technically, not obligated to refund this dick-head a penny, I felt bad so I decided to keep my word and refund his $170. Times were hard for me financially when all this was going on. I sent him 1/2 of the money owed ($85), with a promise to send the rest as soon as humanly possible. So what does he proceed to do, PM ME EVERY FUCKING DAY asking where his $85 is at. It got to the point where I said look, I have nothing more to say to you, I'm a man of my word and you'll get your $85, I just need some time to get shit together. Then, today, this ass-hat jumps on the fuck billd420 bandwagon started by that other abdul fuck just to stir some more shit up.

Guess what denis, you can kiss my ass. I try to be nice with you. I try to be reasonable, and compensate you MORE than I feel you should have been, and what did you do? Spit in my face every chance you could.

his cronies? This is the feedback forum genius, meaning a place to air dirty laundry or to back up a friend. If someone has had a transaction that they feel warrants a public "outing" then why is it not cool for people to back up the person in question? Comments like that make you sound like a sore loser, and given youre track record on this site, Id say you are just trying to saddle up with other people in order to gain some favor back in your camp. You still havent offered anything useful to this thread so whats your point?

billd420 is tops in my book....has replaced battery's in all of my cps3 stuff and even though I have had a couple die in the mail (not 3rd Strike thank god)...thats the risk you take in shipping such delicate hardware ; the best thing you can do is insure it if youre scared, and I've never once shipped a Third Strike cart without insurance.

i usually stay out of this shit cause well i dont post anymore n whatever anywho i dont feel like going back and forth from one crying bitch to the next so ill say my 3 cents here..


bill has literally been nothing but a top dog for me. Seriously the amount of work this man has done for me is beyond what anyone should have done. I've worked close with bill for about a year now and he's 110% legit trader. Without a doubt bill is one of the best traders/ebay sellers i've dealt with in a very long time.

borg_jedi - first follow fucking directions thats most likely why bill sent you INSTRUCTIONS second that's truely fucked up that you'd hassle him after he said he was on rough times and he'd have your other half of your money asap

hines - just shut the fuck up please you have no room to talk with shady traders.

I wish I could contribute something more insightful...but I think the moral of the story is to destroy anything that malfunctions so you won't be tempted to try and get it repaired. Also stick to stuff that doesn't suicide.....

He sent part of the payment as a show of good faith plus all the other stuff and an item from his collection. If bill was a scammer, why would he say the item got lost in shipping and then send the same item from his own personal collection? It doesn't seem like a very profitable or genius scheme to me.

bill420 seems to be a pretty awesome guy. Usually when I post an arcade related question he's one of the few that offers some help.

as for this quote, i will respond to this. paypal lets you do a chargeback within 45 days of the transaction. bild420 told him he sent it to japan one day and said he still needs to send it another. why would it take more then 45 days to send the cart to japan? why not send it insured and registered? he doesnt respond to that. why not send paypal in yen to his contact in japan? how convenient you sent it airmail with no insurance, registered and a money order to another country not insured as well?

for someone who sales alot of things, thats a pretty bad seller. if it would cost more money, why wouldnt you ask me instead of just doing what you think will work when anyone who has bought anything internationally will send it insured and registered and not the way you did.

its really sad that jedah has to come here and insult me when i did nothing to him personally. ive asked bild420 to complete a deal and he didnt. he agreed to pay me back 85.00 and now he says kiss my ass. how is that being an up and up seller. i dont know who abdul is but i feel his plight. God will give me justice and ill just leave it in his hands.

So now you resort to the age old "What goes around comes around" bit? Well then I hope you deal with someone who is as much of an asshole and overall dick to deal with. I hope you try and fix something for someone, only to have it blow up in your face. I hope you lose/misplace/break this item and then tell the honest truth to this person. I then hope that he flips the fuck out and asks for his money back. Soon after I hope you replace the item with one of your own and send him back the extra parts he gave you. After which you then come upon hard times and can't get him all the money back. I hope you have a hard time feeding yourself/family/friends etc. only to have that someone make you feel like shit all along. Then I hope he posts a nasty article about you in the newspaper after you've done nothing but try and do your best to help the guy. Finally I hope that this person continues to pester and badger you about the situation until you take a gun to your head and end this miserable life you lead.

This is typical behavior of a new buyer around here. What, you think you're a unique case? You think you're the first guy to have a transaction go wrong by no fault of you or the seller? Now that's some funny stuff right there. I can't tell you the number of times I've had deals go bad with honest members. For example, I had someone trade me a video upscaler for a few games. We made the trade only to find out the video upscaler was busted. So, then I tell the guy what happened and I send him the upscaler back. I tell him to keep the games because I feel bad about him being out a video upscaler. Did I have to do that, of course not, it's called not being a dick. So then he gets a check for the insurance value of the upscaler. Then, he does something nice back. He gave me half of the check because it would only be fair seeing as we both lost something in the deal. Wow, I thought, what a nice surprise.

Of course this is just one out on hundreds of stories I've got. Bottom line is, you gave this board to bill to get fixed. You didn't know how to do it, so you sent it to him. Now, all of a sudden, you're a CPS3 expert who knows how long things should take. You honestly think your little tirade is getting you anywhere? Have a little compassion. Would it kill you to give bill a chance? Oh, right, that would require you to grow a set and have some patience and not act like an asshole.

i did give bild420 a chance. we started the transaction in 3/07 and now its the end of 8/07. he said he would pay me in 6/07 and didnt due to problems. now its 2 months afterwards, how much more patient can i be?

i never implied to be a cps 3 expert. if my carts are dead, then they are dead. thats not my concern at this point. my concern is bild420 agreed to pay me 85.00 and one month after he said not to pm anymore unless its to tell him i received the 85.00.

as for bild420 sending the naomi loom... thats a nice gesture on his part. i would have rather have my 85.00 then the loom.

as for me logging out never to return... what would that solve? i like ng just like anyone else here. this feedback forum is about feedback and thats why im posting here. why do you resort to name calling like calling me an a#$hole when i didnt call you names in the first place. i know my story is one of many but look at the thread that i linked.... do you think those guys are lying as well? im just showing he has a history. he may have 60 (im guessing) great transaction but he also has several bad ones.

On subject: Bill has done more then his share to help this guy out. The guy gave jedi one of his own Japanese boards, which he was not obligated to do. He then sends back everything else that jedi gave him. Then he sends jedi back half of his money, again which he is not obligated to do. After all of this, jedi still finds a reason to bitch.

Yea, the situation sucks, but it's life, and bill is doing his best to make things right. Only problem is, it's not good enough for ol' jedi.

Here's the thing, bill has gone out of his way TWICE for this buyer. Not because he had to, but because he wanted to try and make things right, EVEN THOUGH none of this was something he maliciously or purposefully did. Bill could have said screw it and moved on, but instead he tries to do the right thing. So here bill extends a bit of courtesy to jedi, but instead of doing the same, jedi would rather try and drag a good member's name through the mud. And why, because the guy couldn't control the mail nor some hard times financially? Might as well make him stop time while you're at it.
