Speed Mode Hibiki is hard as fuck to master/use properly...

Power Mode Hibiki is actually almost easy to use.... almost...

Speed mode Hibiki is not that hard, It's just that the damage she deals is well....not good. Power-M Hibiki is a force to be feared when used properly.

She fucking rocks.

Yes...she does. ^___^

Yeah, if her speed mode damage was a bit better, she would be much easier to use. i love speed mode, power mode hibiki is "too strong" and she's kinda boring to use. I mean, don't get me wrong, she's amazingly powerful in power mode, but you really only need to do a few B's and some Jump B, land B, special/super combos. i like speed better because of chain combos and the speed combos, which are a hell of a lot of fun to use. but they REALLY weakened speed characters, i think maybe even too much. the only FAQs for her really only cover a Power Hibiki in depth. Speed Hibiki, the only real strategy is "DON'T MAKE MISTAKES", which is kinda hard to follow very well.

I really need some more practice with that her, and that whole damn game altogether.

Heyey, Speed Hibiki just happens to be one of my favorite characters in that game. Yes, she's hard to learn, but I like her better there than in Power.

Why? They both are very similar, it's just that I love the chain combos (makes up for less damage, and makes good combos easier to land) and her super-cancel in Power is damn near useless (not like, say, Kagami's).

Plus in Speed she has an awesome and useful 70% damage combo w/ a full bar: First, parry something. Then immediately do a DP+C. Right after that, do d,d+A then (A, B, C, d+C, A, d+C, f+BC). If your life is high, the best you can do after that is a standing or jumping B. However, if your life is flashing, you can finish the combo with her DM, which gets you the 70% damage. That one's a good crowd-pleaser.

Oh yeah, and she is really really cool. But Setsuna is the best.

From what I've seen of myself and other players, Speed's the popular mode to use her in.

Yeah, but how do you do the DM after the speed combo? if the person is flying in the air after an f+BC, how will her DM hit? as far as i know, it doesn't hit airborne opponents... does it?
