....For the first time! That game is fantastic!

I know its one of the first Neo games, but I'm still amazed. The sound and animation are pretty good plus its got a ton of voice samples, some of which aren't bad.

Now I'm thinking of Cyberlip as being the link between Contra and Metal Slug.

Note: I played it on NeoRage. But I definitely plan to buy it now. Anyone know were I can find one for a good price?

If you want a CyberLip MVS drop me a line.
I have one with the original marquee and I'm not partial to it so I would trade it.

I have/had the AES. It's mixed up in a deal on Ebay with a buyer from Singapore (Not the first global deal I've made) along with Ninja Combat. It's a pretty good game, sort of like the predecessor to Metal Slug.

I'm a fan of this good ol' game myself. One thing I think would totally kick ass is to see a cross-over game with Cyber-Lip and Metal Slug. Think about it, you'd get six characters to pick from instead of just two or four, this would be a good way to get Marco, Tarma, Eri, and Fio into the colony for even more awesome levels to destroy, plus since both games take place in the future and have you fighting aliens, it only seems natural. And if you play the games side by side, they run on pretty much the same engine of play mechanics. Makes me wonder if some of the programmers on Metal Slug may have got their start on Cyber-Lip...

Seemed that we should remember "Contra³[Super Probotector]" on SNes...That´s still the "Best Jump-and-Shoot" Game, for a long time. Ok, the graphics aren´t good as MS3, but the Gameplay is much better...
I´ll agree with u, that Metal Slug is a great game too, but CyberLip...??? Ok, we just have different choices...

Cool idea, Lou! The aliens from Metal Slug could be the ones that "evilly reprogrammed" Cyber-Lip!

Yeah, Cyberlip is great!

One of the best "first-generation" Neo games, IMO. The voice samples were fantastic, especially considering the time period. The graphics and animation were good too. Only thing that sucked was that you couldn't shoot diagonally, IIRC.

Too bad it's so short/easy though too - you can easily whip through the game in no time, especially if you're using a memory card.

Damn, now that I think about it, I really miss not having this one (sold my copy when I got rid of my first AES system). Gotta get me another copy, either on home cart or MVS...
