Hi all,

Is it possible to disable the line switching thing in Single Player mode? I saw that you can do it in 2p but haven't been able to do it in 1p.

Oh and if anybody can tell me how to do Kim's dm in this game it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance everyone,

As far as I know, it's not possible on a single player game to disable the line switching. Maybe if you are playing the home cart version with the debut bios, but other than that...

Also, Kim's S-Power move is: hcf+BC while in the air.

His P-Power move is: qcb, down-back, forward+C

Kim doesn't have a qcb+BC, either in the air or on the ground, which would explain why it wasn't workinig for you! ;)

lol I'm very sorry that was a typo. I did the combination you mentioned but I got nothing. Do you have to do it when your energy bar is shining red or something?

It kinda sucks that this game doesn't have a practice mode!

Thanks.

You can perform it an infinite amount of times when your life bar is flashing red. Or you can perform it once each time S.Power is displayed on the power gauge.

As for lineswaying on 1-player, try to pick opponents who don't have a back plane on their levels - Yamazaki, Cheng and Hon-Fu to name a few. The linesway system takes time to get used to but is all a part of the gameplay. Try to make it work in your favour instead of your opponents.

Exactly.

Once you get used ot it, you'll find the 2-line system a very valuable tool, and a nice additon to the standard 2D fighter gameplay.

Also, once you get good at using attacks that send your opponent into the opposite plane, you'll find that on single-line stages you're actually able to "bounce" them off the backgrounds, and then continue to combo them as they rebound. It's a pretty nifty trick! :D
