JPN 165401

In all honesty, I've never found out if it's Japanese or USA...it uses a Japanese AC, so I figured it's JPN...am I correct?

It depends if your games display some japanese text or all english text. My jap system also has a brief "for jap use only" disclaimer right after the SNK boot.

I'm pretty sure it's Japanese then...whenever I play my JPN Sam Spirits 2, it always goes back to JAP after each game.

The higher the serial number the newer your system is! Production stopped at about 360 000 units or so...that is for the jp. AES.

Main System - 00017

Portable Unit - 70XXX

The sound output on my Main System is WAY stronger than any other system I have ever came across!

I'm jealous of you Kenny Boy. Is your system a Japanese? I wonder who has serial # 00001.
