[Resolved] NeoGeoSaint

Ok here's the deal. I was looking for an opened copy of Street Fighter Zero 3. I already have a sealed copy, but actually wanted to play it, which is why I was looking for one. NeoGeoSaint sent me a PM and said $60 USD for his opened (but complete) SFZ3.

I agreed, and after roughly 3 weeks (and a lot of PMs asking what was up) I finally got his package in the mail. Upon opening it, I found out that neither the 4MB RAM or the outer box were in this package. I checked my PM box and he had PMed me saying he couldn't find either and that he would send them when he did.

Well after another week or two, I PMed him again asking what the status was. No response. I threatened to take action then just as I am doing now by posting this thread. He then responded saying he sent those two items and that the delay came from him taking a final for some class.

Well anyway, he said he sent the items roughly a week and a half ago. I know sometimes things take forever in the post, but they don't take 2 weeks inside the US. I still have the $60 MO for him when he finally comes through but who knows if that will ever happen.

Ideally I would like for this to be a WAKE-UP call to NeoGeoSaint and to others to watch out when dealing with him. I am fine with delays sometimes but make the reasons known, I am a pretty accommodating guy.

if you havnt payed him yet give him alittle more time.I am sure he wants his money. If he does not come threw however talk to him about partial payment to make up for missing 4mb ram cart and box. That way you get the game and with the money left out of the sixty you can hit the bay and pick up the ram cart atleast.

Threads like this should be a last resort.

You have both the money and the game.

You are holding all the cards here, and I have a hard time believing that this thread was necessary in order to come to a fair resolution.

I like how after you received the game, before you had sent him any money, you felt it was appropriate to threaten him. I think he knew perfectly well that you wouldn't be quick to send the money if you didn't receive what you thought you were buying. Given that he was slow to reply to you -- a clear sign that receiving his money was a low priority for him -- you should have backed off and thought, "gosh, maybe the guy is just busy like he says he is."

Granted, he seems like a big flake, but why did you feel the need to try and mar his reputation? If anything, I think your post speaks volumes more about you than him.

I don't like drawn-out transactions any more than the next guy, but this thread is a bit unnecessary.

Like I said, I want this to be a wake-up call to him. Private conversation does not seem to work so I made it public and see if he responds to that. I didn't say, oh my god, he is a terrible trader and should be banned or anything even close to that. I know I have both part of his end and all of mine; even if I do want to warn people he is a slow trader, that is my right. I don't think I'm unjustly "marring" his reputation by doing so. What people interpret from this thread and the other about NeoGeoSaint is beyond my control. I can appreciate your comments though

I think the only thing that people will "inetpret" is the fact that you have jumped the gun a bit to soon, and might think again when trading/selling with you.

Thanks for your comment. I'm ok with that if that's somehow what people interpret from all this.

EDIT: NeoGeoSaint sent me a PM saying he was going to send this week, so I'll see how that comes along

The don 2 is right i didnt want to say it before but if your impatient about this trade when your in control......It doesnt really make people want to trade with you . However i think your takeing the advice well but it kinda comes off alittle brasen and pumpas the way youve worded it.

You might want to check the attitude at the door calm down and be more pacient.That is all.
