List of games by category?

Hello...

I'm new to the neo-geo scene but I love classic gaming. When I was a kid I just couldn't afford the AES. I am thinking about buying the front loading CD unit because the games are easy to order and pretty affordable. I was just wondering if there is a site that lists games by category i.e. Side scrolling, fighting, 2D shooters etc. ? I know that the reliability of these units are in question, but I think that maintenance might be the key.
