8 Pin Din to Jamma?...........................

Anyone know where I send all 8 wires from an 8pin Din to on a Jamma board?

I know the obvious where Green, Red and Blue go, but the other 5 cables I'm confused about.

What are you connecting to with the din.

You will also need sync and ground. So you could get away with a 5 pin din.

Pin Name Dir Description
1 AOUT ------> Audio out
2 GND ------> Ground
3 VIDEO ------> Composite Video Out
4 +5V ------> +5 VDC
5 GREEN ------> Green Video
6 RED ------> Red Video
7 NSYNC ------> Negative Sync
8 BLUE ------> Blue Video





Ok so I know the following:-

Pin 5 goes to Jamma Edge Pin N on the Solder Side
Pin 6 goes to Jamme Edge Pin 12 on Parts Side
Pin 8 goes to Jamma Edge Pin 12 on Parts Side

Not sure about the rest....

7 din to P, 1 din to 11, and ground din to any ground on the connector. Should do the trick for you. The only catch is you may have to strip the Sync out of pin 7 using an LM1881 circuit and board since it is composite out and not a true sync out and then output the signal from the PC board or whatever you made.
