I have yet to see any reviews of this game for the NEO GEO AES. So, could you guys tell me what you personanlly think of this game... that is the ones that have bought it??? I am considering buying this one but I want to know that it is better than KoF 2001... ???

It's hard to compare ROTD to other fighters because it plays much differently, which is a nice change of pace.
I'll start off with the bad:
1) Animation isn't on par with other Neo fighters like Last Blade or MOTW.
2) Game relies heavily on a unique (and sometimes frustrating) combo system, some may just not like it.
3) Controls are a little stiff, buffering is a bit strict.
4) Alices' voice over is by far the most annoying thing I have ever heard.
5) End boss = cheap ass
Good points:
1) A unique and original cast of characters, only Mr. Jones is lame.
2) Music is very fitting and catchy.
3) Backgrounds for the most part are well done.
4) Chock full O'Engrish!
5) The most important factor in a game, it is VERY fun.
I didn't think much of it when I first started to play, but after a few hours I was hooked. Once you get the feel of the game you won't stop playing, it can be very addicting.
Set aside all the bad things and just look at the most important issue in a game, its fun.
