Couple of gameplay questions on Rage of the Dragons

How exactly do you do the CD First Impact combo starter in the air? I originally thought it was character dependant, but I've seen ever character do both air and ground versions, while all I've managed to pull off is the standard ground one.

Also, is it possible to combo a Duplex attack off of a First Impact combo? Instinct tells me yes (that this would be a way to get some of the REALLY huge combos I've heard about), but so far I haven't had any luck. Is it just that the timing is really strict?

I want to know too. I can't perform the First Impact combo in the air either. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

What's the largest combo people have done so far? I play Kang and I did a 19-hit combo by accident. I started C+D puch, AAAC, jab, fireball, flying spin, and did the C+D, AAAC again. It might be possible that the combos can be infinite, it may just be very difficult to pull off.

Outside of a Duplex attack, my largest combo has been 21 hits with a team of Billy/Jimmy. I honestly can't remember how much of a part Jimmy played in it (I was more just messing around at the time), but I do know Billy was a major component, and I'm pretty sure his QCF+K move was in there somewhere! ;)

Still no answer on the doing First Impact combos in the air or linking a Duplex attack into a First Impact combo though... <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

Wait...do mean doing a CD combo when both fighters are in the air(I don't know if that's possible), or do you simply mean use a CD combo to "launch" the opponent into the air and have your character jump up and go after them? If it's the latter, simply hit CD, then jump, and your First Impact combo chain will change at the bottom of the screen to a different set of buttons. From there, you can go crazy, comboing in supers, duplex attacks, or both. :)

Have to work on incorporating this into my game play now...

And from what you indicated, it is possible to combo a duplex attack after a First Impact; I thought so, but the timing must be pretty stringent.

Just another reason (as if I needed one) to keep playing I guess... :D
