My friend and I both have neo geo cabs and his has some weird colors to it. Is there a way on the monitor to change the RGB? I noticed a few little dials on the back and I was wondering if those are it. I am also wondering where a "cap kit" be done on the tube. ANNNND I was also wondering, is there any way to discharge the tube so I do not get hurt messing with it, if not, what parts should I avoid. I have an album up here with pictures of the tube.

DO NOT turn those yet until you post a pic of said "weird colors"...

If the weird colors are big splotches of miscolored areas on the screen then you simply need to move it away from other monitors, fans, motors, or other magnetic or electromagnetic interference. (such as circuit breaker panels)...

If there are no sources of the interference nearby then you need to spend a few bux and buy a degaussing coil to fix it.

You know, I think its really just dim. The colors look off because we have the contrast and brightness up so high to compensate.

If that's the case then a cap kit may or may not help. It could be a weak CRT. If that's what it is you can take it over to a local TV repair shop and get them to hook a CRT Tester/Rejuvenator to it and try to breathe some new life into the old CRT.
