Hello all. Today i am trying to figure out what i would need to do to turn my Converted Neo Cab (that is currently MVS board) to house a 6 slot Jamma board. I know re-wiring would be a huge thing on this subject but im thinking of possibly making a supergun out of it, if its too much work to convert the converted cab. Thanks all

Cheers

Apart from the card reader being on board, the wiring is the same for a 2 slot as it is a 6.

Most of the single slots are different, being straight jamma

2 and 6 slots are MVS with stereo sound and game select button. The wiring is the same.

Edit: I may have misunderstood the question, are you talking about one of those multi jamma board switching devices ? Like this.

That would be easy, connect a single speaker between jamma pin 10 and L or beter still install a switch so that you have the option.

You might have to upgrade your PSU if its not up to the task for a 6 slot.

It is 19 x 15" and the screen can is about 1 1/2" high. Do not forget the feet also.
Nominal current draw is 5 amps on these boards.

Most standard/generic arcade psus like a Peter Choi should be OK.
They can supply up to 15 amps.
