After playing as Yuki in LB2 (I really suck with anyone other than your average shoto, don't know why), I have the impression that the way she is drawn makes her look like a European rather than Japanese (as the name suggests).

Do you think it's a coincidence or do you think it's intentional?

I also feel weird when i saw Yuki at the first time....
That time ....wow!a caucasian!....Arghh Bastard!...
Its a japanese!.....(Yuki)

Cause Japanese love the Western people's looks! Hence a lot of Blonde and Blue eyes.... Take a look at a Japanese magazine a lot of ads are of Western people.

I'm pretty sure it's intentional; I remember that Okina adopted her, Kaede and Moriya as his "children" while they were trained under Gaisei.

Also, I think in the first one, when you beat her with Washizuka he says, "Get lost, sister! Before Immigration comes!" This would lead one to believe that she's not "from these parts (Japan)."
