I can probably put this together and make it happen if anyone is interested in buying a candy cab or two. Let me know as soon as possible. I would like to get this going sometime in July. I would bring these from California to Columbus Ohio and you can pick them up here!

I'd be interested if the price is right. I'm looking mainly for a neo candy, but any of them will do. Let me know.

sorry about that but my name is Steve and im pretty much new to the hobby. I have read alot on the boards and have contacted Matsu himself about some cabs. I can't believe the shipping price of $315 to my door so i figured i would try to put something together where I can get them delivered cheaper. I have a friend that owns his own semi truck and to make it cost effective we would need about 14-20 cabs sold. This would run anyone $150-$200 shipping instead of the $300+ range.

Again all im doing is trying to put together some numbers. T_smallz on this board can verify me. He has traded alot with you guys and i live about .5 miles from him and he was a personal friend from high school. I figured if i can get 20 cabs sold, collect half money now then half when we get back with cargo, it would benefit all of us.

Lets just get some numbers first. Im in for 2 cabs myself as im sure TSmallz wouldnt mind another one.

I'd rather pay matsu directly and just pay 1/2 the shipping charge upfront and 1/2 on delivery/pickup. Sorry i just can't fork over that much money to someone who has no feedback or previous postings.

This is something which should be done by established members in my opinion. We're talking about a lot of money here, so you should at least have more than 0 posts, and 0 feedback...

That's fine and i respect your opinion however this will be done right and no money will exchange hands until you feel comfortable. I will discuss this with a highly respected individual on this board and see if he would like to back it. Again I think if done correctly everyone ends up happy when the cabs arrive!

Before money is sent/given to me for purchase, remember I have to match what you pay me before I can even touch the cabs. Everyone involved will receive a signed contract by my shipping partner as well as any documentation that the cab wholesaler gives pertaining to the cabinet. I would like to work with Matsu and I have mentioned something already to him regarding a big buy but this is only the beginning of the deal and there are several things that will be ironed out. I know my rep on here is 0 but i have a passion for these machines and am in pretty much the same situation as several other members on getting these to our side of the country. Im a 33 yr old that has alot of resources in shipping and am willing to put 1/2 the money upfront to get these here.

Too bad someone like dubdubdub wasn't closer :/ I'd feel much safer if i was sending money to an established business, rather than an established member.

PM me with your ideas. Ive done some shipping research and i think we have 2 options on getting these things here on the cheap. I think our biggest hurdle is Matsu's inventory.

Steve is a trustworthy person. KPG, you are in MI right? I would be interested in a few more cabs myself. Biggest problem is getting the condition I would be interested in. I hate to buy without seeing the items first.

Matsu website has pics of the actual cab you are buying and 4-5 different shots.

Yeah, but losing half our money to an unknown quantity is still worse than losing nothing by going with Matsu.

Not saying you're a scammer...

Also, it's probably still cheaper and most definitely easier for non-Ohio folks to go directly to Matsu and have the cabs delivered to their door. And I don't think you'll find enough people in Ohio to make this happen.

The only way to do this right and effectively save cash is to cut the middle-man. Go-betweens are rarely cost effective and in the case of cabs, they add much more anxiety to any deal.

Check out the trashed Candy cabs thread. I don't think I'll be sending them my money either...

I live in Columbus but have no idea who this dude is.(seriously)

However he is right about the shipping prices. I'm a shipping clerk and in my experience a single pallet less than 300lbs. should be no more than $200 for a 5-7 day delivery from Cali to the East coast.

As I said in the other thread pick your cab up yourself so you don't have to keep your fingers crossed.

Just my 2 cents.

Yea i seen the trashed candy cab thread also and that was by the shipping company. In this group buy the shipping company would basically be a sub contractor personal friend of mine AND he would carry insurance on any damages.
