seeking help with my candy cab

just bought a candy cab few weeks ago and it plays awesome with my MVS games.

But I never had a chance to play 2nd player mode before so I invited someone over to join us playing Striker 1945 Plus and couldn't start with two players.

My cab is in coin op right now. It has only one coin-op slot on the right side. How do I get it set up for 2nd player mode? (I used free mode by tapping the stick inside the coin op machine)

(If your confused about it, I can put credits in 1P but couldn't put credits in 2P so help me out, man )

Its something to do with a setting on your mvs board. iirc if you go through the hardware options, there should be a setting to go from 2 coin shoots to 1 coin shoot. Hope you have a bios with the options in english.

I have a beast MVS-1 slot by Romstar. Familiar with it?

check the manuals on hardmvs and check your dip options

Cool, hope you enjoy the cabinet. The only MVS boards I've ever had are 4 slots. I'm looking in the test mode on my mvs cab, it looks like you can switch between 1 or 2 coin switches by flipping dip switch #2. For free play flip dip 7. It should be the same on yours, but you should probably go to test mode and go to "setting up the hard dip" just to make sure. Hope this helps.

I changed the settings dip sw#2 and sw#7.

It all works perfect.
