how do you clean the contacts

I was wondering how do you clean the contacts on the MVS carts safety?

I must have crap erasers, they never did anything for my cartridges. I've been using electronics cleaner from Radio Shack with Q-tips.

The erasers come in when you have badly oxidized contacts, like old NES carts and stuff.
