broken neo geo mvs boards

i have a question. is there a guide out there for broken neo mvs boards that come up with ram errors? in other words, if i have a board with a ram error is there something that will point you to what chips to replace? thank you.

what ive been told and done searches is its all trial and error on the ram chips

Post the error message and I'll tell you which chips it is...

You can tell which set is which by checking to see what other chip/chips it is connected to.

Keep in mind that some of them are surface mount type memory chips. I can replace those for you if you cannot.
