As cool as this device is, I'm looking to buy a laptop this summer, so my GP2X must go. It's a great device which runs a crapload of homebrew games, as well as many emulators (NeoGeo, CPS2, MAME, SNES, NES, GBA, GBC, TG16, Genesis, PSX (though not very fast), Lynx, DOS, C=64, Amiga, and a lot more). It can also play videos and music, and display pictures and e-books. It is also capable of hooking up to a TV in NTSC or PAL (but I don't have the cable that does that). There's a very active scene for it that has many enthusiastic developers, so new stuff is always coming out, and existing programs are always being tweaked for better performance, with new features, etc.
Informative links: http://www.gp32x.com http://wiki.gp2x.org
edit: Some people have asked me about the performance of a few emulators, the second link I posted has a section that talks about this: http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Software_Directory#Emulators

This GP2X overclocks to at least 250mhz (I believe it can do 270-275mhz stable; I can verify this if anyone wants). edit: It seems I was right, and a bit more than that. I got it to 280mhz and it was stable. It was always kept in a Nintendo DS case with a soft inner lining when not in use, so the screen looks great. The screen has a small amount of very fine scratches, but they're barely noticeable. Its joystick cap is rubberized and grips your thumb pretty well. It comes with the Nintendo DS case, 512MB (that's half a gigabyte) SD card, and an AC adapter. If you want I can also burn a DVD with a ton of MAME roms on it too (full set from some version in 2001, latest games are from 1999), just mention it to me.

Asking price: $180 shipped via USPS Priority Mail in the Continental USA with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation.

I strongly prefer to be paid in Paypal (add 3% for a total of $185.40), but I can do a personal check or money order. I prefer buyers in the Continental USA.

You may contact me via PM, e-mail or AIM.

edit: I have 4 no-name 1200mah rechargeables and an Olympia-brand charger that I can toss in for an extra $7.50+any additional shipping. A pair of them lasts about an hour in the GP2X at stock speed.
