is the pgm board region free?

is the pgm board region free? i just got the motherboard and a game from 2 seperate people and i cant get the game to work. the motherboard does power up and it brings up a menu. please help. thanks in advance j

No region issues on the PGM. Try pushing the game in harder, it's not in till you hear the BANG! You'll know it, when it's inserted all the way.

Should also make sure all your DIP Switches are off. If none of that works, I'd suggest a good cleaning:

mine still doesnt work. everytime i turn it on; first it does the igs polygame master title screen then it brings me directly to the menu. it wont play a game.

I have a feeling it does something like this if the Dips are not set correctly.?

all my dips are off. i dont know if its the game or the mobo. the mobo powers up the same way if a game is in it or not.

What is the game you are trying to play.? I have only ever come across one faulty PGM cart. What are you powering the Mobo from.? Supergun or Cab.?

im trying to run it in a cab. they are jamma setup. i have several, and it doesnt work in any of them. i only have 1 board and 1 game, so its kinda hard to tell which one it is. im waiting on 2 more games in the mail so, if it does the same with those games i say its the board. but the funny thing is, is that the board does power up. it does the same thing with or without a game. it plays the igs title screen and then it goes directly to the main menu. it wont let me access operator controls and it wont let me exit.
