i am trying to take apart the contol panel on an MVS Big red, under the control panel where the buttons are is this board that the earphone jacks are as well as the memory card slot, i unscrewed the screws that hold it in place, but i can't remove it! it looks like the earphone jacks are keeping it from coming out, like they are mounted into the panel. anyone know how to get this thing out? pls help asap

mine were not mounted to the cp at all. They kind of slide into the precut holes and fit very snug. If this has never been removed before either, chances are that they may have some dirt and dust in there...which will make it even worse. Just pull gently on it and it should come out fine..

Just before you do this, double check and make sure that there are no nuts that need to be taken off first.

pulled hard

i've pulled pretty hard already, the only nuts that are left are teh ones that are in the memcard slot on the board, it is not connected to the metal panel though, could that be the problem?

How many screws did you take out and,,,,Shit, maybe they glued it in..
It should slide back out of the earphone holes.
