What happened to David_Koresh?!

I don't normally bring my private disputes to the public arena, but in this case I feel like I have to.

Does anybody know what happened the ng.com member David_Koresh?

He and I had an agreement to trade my JP Baseball Stars 2 homecart for his US one back on March 18th. I did my part, and sent him mine the day after. He finally sent me his US cart after a couple weeks, but it had a fake insert and I couldn't accept it in trade.

He claimed he wasn't aware that the insert was fake, and that he'd offer me another US BS2 cart he was supposedly getting from D-Lite or send back my JP cart.

But, he's been extremely flaky throughout the entire ordeal, and doesn't appear to go online anymore. He had such good feedback here, I didn't think I would have to worry about this sort of thing. He's been very courteous and understanding about the whole thing early on, but now he doesn't respond to my PMs or anything.

It's been 2 months since I returned his BS2 cart with the fake insert, and I still don't have my cart back.

Why would he be selling his BS2 cart and getting another from D-Lite? That raises red flags right there. Sounds like he knew the insert was fake and was trying to dump it off on someone.

Probably nothing, but I was going to trade some items with him in the past, and he could never give me a definate answer. At the end of it all, he tryed selling me all of his stuff. I don't think he ever wanted to make the trade. I think he is just extremely flaky, or he was just amusing me.

He screwed me in the end, becasue I could have sold the items to another member, but becasue I took long (waiting for Koresh) he backed out.

Ermm... I *think* that Dave_K at shmups.com is the David Koresh you guys might be talking about. He lives in San Jose, CA no?

Nah, Dave_K is a different guy. IIRC David Koresh lives in North Carolina.
