I need a little help with a CPS-3 battery swap. I'm trying to replace the battery in a Warzard, and as many of you know, its got that stupid black wire. On my New Generation and 2nd Impact cart, I was able to cut the battery at the negative end with enough left over to solder the new battery to. With this cart, there's no way I'll have enough room to do so. My question is, what do I do? If I desolder the negative side with the wire, its dead right? Also, I am doing these swaps with the game running...I've never used the helper battery method.
