Any tips for spotting fake Mini Marquees?

Just wondering if I could get some tips & learn a few things about spotting fakes from you guys.

if you've ever seen a real one youll know right away.

its hard to tell from pictures though.

most fake ones ive seen are just laminated printouts. ive never seen anything come close to the original plastic ones.

yeah, they should be readily obvious. I have an original and fake WH2 mini...I'll try to take a pic of both for you, but the fake is VERY obvious.

But yes, it can be hard to tell in pics.

The oversaturation of red is a give away.
Cheap scanners tend to have lower color gamuts.
Also cheap printers even up to medium priced printers $7,000-10,000
will have a lower color gamut and will produce prints like that fake
marquee.

The red is oversaturated because the printer can only produce a limited
amout of color so it will print red instead of...

orange , yellow , ETC.

Another indicator is the correct size.

Look at the actual size difference between the real and the fake.

Knowing the correct dimensions for a real marquee will eliminate some fakes.
