I recently wired up my Impress cab to play Atomiswave games and went with this button layout:

1 2 3
4 5

It works great for KOF Neowave. I was just wondering if this layout would be fine for most of the other games.

Officially it's:
1 2 3
4 5

or (how it's shown in the GG Isuka Manual)

1 2 3
4 x 5

When you're playing some SNK games w/ that layout, they call the buttons:

A C E
B D

even though they're still wired to the harness like above. So it can get confusing. But if you wire it 123/45, the default controls should match the play sheet for the games and you won't need to mess around in the Test menu.

Thanks Kickinwing, that's the info I was looking for. I really wanted to avoid having to configure the buttons for every game..
