Hi all =)

I recently bought a cheap VGA Box to connect all kinds of consoles n stuff trough component or svideo to a VGA screen.
Its a "Bigben Interactive" V-Box (no manual available)

I already know that the quality isn`t very good on the box, but its ok.
I bought the box just for "insurance purposes" , when no TV is available at some places...

The main problem is, the box somehow (like stated on the backside of the packaging) has a self regulation for color saturation and contrast/brightness -
and on my TFT screens the picture is too bright and too colorful ...
even when i change display settings on my TFT

I tried 3 different consoles (Gamecube, AES, SNES) ... so the video "input" colors/saturation/brightness from the consoles is surely ok...

Is there a way i could mod the box , so that i can add at least 2 regulators for manual settings of brightness / saturation ?

The box has 2 VGA connectors (PC Monitor / VGA Card) and a SVIDEO in on the bottom side, Audio / Composite , Phones and Power on the right side,
and the button to change Video signals on the upper side.

If its too complicated to do that, perhaps there is another workaround ... or not :D

I am thankful for all tips.

Someone knows more than me but I would put some 500k pots on the outputs of the RGB.

How are you inputing the video to the board?

Well, both inputs somehow ... i am using the 3 component inputs (red , white for audio and yellow for video) for SNES for example,
and svideo for the mega modded AES)... (could use component there too, of course)

Thanks for the tip , Xian !

Some of those Boxes have a seperate gamma setting for LCD screens...

You might need one of those...
