Well you don't have to tell me I suck at SF. I'll openly admit it. It was extensive playing of SF II that showed me all my weaknesses in fighting games:
You know a cheap throw pattern, you'd win easily against me. All the time I've been caught in that blocked jump-in, throw trap I've never escaped; even with throw escapes (Which rarely work for me regardless how much I pound on the buttons.)
Cross-ups: Amazes me how much people abused those controllable super jumps in the vs games when it came to cross-ups. And of course no pop-up move ever could nail my opponent (They'd either miss because my opponent's behind me or their jump-in attack out prioritize my attack.).
Speaking of which...
Priority; how I've grown to hate prioritized moves. My best friend would abuse Ken's jumping Fierce punch like a bad habit. Nothing short of a Dragon punch could beat it and I'm not the world's biggest Shot fan.
Fireball traps; God, I hated this pattern for years and it still gets me, even in a game with super jumps like KOF.
Hit trades; 9 times out of 10, I'd lose when it comes to a hit trade. Another of my least favorite aspects of fighters.
Many say SF even at level 8 is a cake walk; but I disagree with that in a heartbeat. I can easily finish KOF at level 8, but I'd easily lose to the first few opponents at SF (I sure as hell don't last long in Zero 3 or 3rd Strike.)
I could go on all night, but I wouldn't want to bore anyone talking about how much I suck at SF.
Peace.
