I have a TA-082 PSP's can I still get emulators?

I have a TA-082 PSP's? Is is Version 2.5.0 Is there a way I can get it to play emualtors still? One of the programs I found said the TA-082 version could not be downgraded

You can safely downgrade TA-082s now.

i got one with a TA-082 with a 2.71 firmware *my best buy is loaded with them* and i successfully downgraded to 1.5
