Seriously.

I saw PLENTY of that game in the wild...even on clearance.

Sounds like a "I saw one go for $80 on ebay, so thats what I want for it." Slippery slope situation.

Annoying.

It has actually been fairly rare for a while. That doesn't mean that you can't find one cheap but the price for a copy of Tactics Ogre has been high for a while.

I remember seeing prices of $40+ a couple years back.

Yeah that game is hard to find. I was lucky to find a New one at EBgames a few years back for $30. I passed on it to get Breath of Fire, Inindo and Shadowrun all cart only for the SNES cause they were 60% off.

saw it at Circuit City years ago.

PROTIP: If the title of a game has "Tactics" and "Ogre" in it, it's destined for price gouging.

This is the only reason I bought Tactics Ogre.

Because I knew the price would go up on it. :glee:

Truth. Pretty much every game in this series goes for money. Even the N64 one. I see the cart evey once in awhile at stores, but its pretty hard to find a complete one in the wild.

I have a sealed Ogre Battle 64. Is it worth anything?

I use to sell sealed Ogre Battle 64s for about $70 but that was five or so years ago when there was still some market for the N64. So, the price could have gone down since then.

I sold a couple cart only Ogre Battle 64s for $35 each about a year back. I am no expert but I would say it is worth at least $50.

You could always put a reserve price on it if you didn't want to let it go for under $70 or whatever. I bet it would fetch a tidy sum.

Good game + Sealed = Expensive
