Everybody is talkin about this at ShinAkuma.com and Shoryuken.com. Basically you perform a roll and in the first 3 frames of the roll you perform a super or special move and it becomes invicible for 27 frames. So you can do this and peform your psycho crusher/blanka's roll/hurricane kick/Final showdown etc. and it will go thru fireballs uppercuts and anything else your opponent can throw at you. Some people say this is could be game breaking some say it isn't. I don't know for sure but it sure is crazy.

I know what you mean.
I've almost perfected that roll-canceling move.
Me and my friend were trying it out at the arcade.
When we first pulled it off against this guy we were playing, he thought we were cheating but my friend and I explained the whole thing to him and he seemed interested.
I think this is going to cause some controversy at a tournament but maybe not.

Hey Shadow Ryu, how often do people use roll canceling at your Arcade?

Its really rare.
I know there are some people who come to our arcade from New York and sometimes California for tournaments in Tekken 4 and most recently in Capcom vs. SNK 2.
In this one match, this guy used it and it really didn't cause no commotion since the guy lost anyway.

Depends on the tourney, but usually 100% combos are okay. If the player is good enough to pull off a 100%, then they should be allowed to use it. If you don't like them using it, then figure out how to not get hit by it![]()
(Infinites are not usually allowed...although really all you have to do is drop your opponent when they are like 3 pixels away from death then just chip em to death...)
