So, I really enjoy looking at pictures of others' arcade collections. The more pictures, the more variety, the better. I never really bothered with pictures of my stuff since I was more interested with what everyone else was collecting and playing. Someone asked, so here it goes. This is the product of collecting for several years, piling up so many PCBs, cabinets, and pins that I couldn't even use the stuff, and then dumping just about everything I didn't love. Now, I have a collection of games that I play regularly, can access easily, and am mostly satisfied with. Tons of pictures, let it load, and hang in there...

On the way down to the "Cade", some words of wisdom:

DSCN1847.JPG

We obey all the rules except for beverages and loitering. Lots of beverages and loitering going on:

DSCN1848.JPG

Down to the "classics" side, first stop is the Rock-Ola 469. Now playing? Journey, Def Leppard, Ozzy, and more 45s from the 1980s:

DSCN1850.JPG

Far wall, Super Breakout, Asteroids, and Taito Egret (featuring a variety of MVS, CPS-2, and Taito F3, along with the occasional vertical shmup):

DSCN1852.JPG

Near wall, Circus, Missile Command, Tempest, Gyruss, Galaxian, and Time Pilot (tough to see):

DSCN1853.JPG

Egret again:

Galaxian - one of the best:

DSCN1858.JPG

Time Pilot in better view:

DSCN1859.JPG

As a side-attraction, we have our Lego Space monorail traveling around the top of this part of the room. Here's the home base:

DSCN1861.JPG

And a floating bridge:

DSCN1862.JPG

We also have a city in the back of the room. Here's one shot, and I won't bore you with more:

DSCN1865.JPG

The back wall features the mini arcade. Here's one of about three sections. Included here are Pac-Man, QBert, and the Vectrex:

DSCN1868.JPG

Last stop on the classic side is the Atari 2600 corner, complete with old Radio Shack 13" TV. Shelves include some MVS and other arcade carts, along with Atari carts:

DSCN1869.JPG

OK, so then there's the pinball and misc side. Here's the view as you enter:

DSCN1872.JPG

PinBot and Bride of Pinbot:

DSCN1874.JPG

Comet and assorted video and pinball flyers on the wall:

DSCN1875.JPG

We prefer Williams pins mostly. Sorcerer and Earthshaker:

DSCN1876.JPG

Time Fantasy, The Getaway, and Genie (a Gottlieb):

DSCN1877.JPG

The opposite wall houses the Cyberlead, which features Atomiswave almost exclusively:

DSCN1878.JPG

Center of the room, US Naomi cab with GD setup. Was once World Series Baseball, is now Capcom Vs SNK 2.. and Border Down.. and many others. We <3 Naomi:

DSCN1879.JPG

Far rear corner, Nintendo Playchoice 10. I'm not a huge fan of the PC-10, but we don't actually own an NES, so most of our favorites are played here if available:

DSCN1881.JPG

Opposite rear corner. Gun Fight - a classic black and white 2 player dueling game, Pac-Man with 96-in-1 board installed, and a sitdown California Speed (complete with funky seat cover):

DSCN1882.JPG

Another two pin shots:

DSCN1889.JPG

To the back:

DSCN1888.JPG

We like Rage of the Dragons. And Pac-Man storybook 45s:

DSCN1895.JPG

That's about it. Thanks for looking.

That's a damn nice collection!

I'd post mine, but it's just 2 candies sitting next to each other. Not too exciting...

unbelievable, each cab looks better then the next, and Clean! you must have at least $50,000 worth of pinball equipment in that basement alone! and not a one cocktail cab in sight :make_fac:

[edit] by the way i especially like the swana panel built into your naomi setup. perfect jap controls without the hastle of dealing with a woodcab setup

Awesome collection of games and tables. I love how you have the old Time Out "House Rules" poster, I really wish I was at the mall when they closed the Time Out by me, I would have swiped that sign in a heartbeat.

what a great game. how about Theatre of Magic, Tommy, Attack from Mars. The G&R machine is pretty kick ass with a sub in it.

That reminds me, get a sub put in Earthshaker, makes the game way cooler.

JackBot is definitely on the "to get" list. We're not really into many DMD-era games. Other than Getaway, we pretty much just want JackBot, WhiteWater, and Dr Who for other DMDs. The best stuff is from the mid-late 80s Williams System 11 lineup.

Thanks for the good words, folks.

This is a bit off topic, but I figured it would be good place to ask...

What should I expect to pay for a pinball table in nice condition? I'm not looking for anything super rare, just a fun to play/nicely layed-out table in good condition.

It depends entirely on what you're looking for. Do you want something with a dot matrix display, seven segment display, or scoring reels? Do you want lots of neat gadgets and toys on the playfield, just a few ramps, or a flat playfield with some targets? In general, something that isn't super rare or desirable from the early 80s will go for about $500. Late 80s, $800-1000. 90s, $1000-$2000. From there, you'll probably also have to replace the rubber rings on the playfield and you'll really want to give everything a cleaning and waxing. Figure another $50 for misc parts, supplies. That said, pinball prices are all over the place depending on your source. A guy who sells pinball machines for a living will probably have done the cleaning and part replacement work for you, but might want $1500 when you could've paid $1000 and done that work yourself. On the other hand, some guy may have a random machine in his garage that he'll list in your local paper for $100 just to get it out.

I'd recommend going to http://www.ipdb.org, searching around for a while, and getting a true feel for what you want. From there, you can more easily narrow down what price range you're looking at realistically, and what addition effort might be required for a particular game (some have specialized, high-failure parts, for example, while others are cut and dry easy mechanically and electrically).

craiglist my friend...

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/clt/327178700.html

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/clt/324560569.html <<--pinbot!

there are quite a few at the Atlanta site.

dot matrix display games will generally go from anywhere between 1k and 4k. i just recently sold a Demolition Man for $1100 but i wanted it out of my house. like clubninja said, you can save quite a bit if you get and 'unshopped' machine and shop it yourself. it's not really hard and i enjoy the process personally. if you can spend 2-3k, get the Guns & Roses game with a sub, it has a lot of novelty and plays some GnR tunes while you play.

i'm not huge into scoring reel games (EM) but the digital displays and dot matrix are more involved. DOT's just give the game a little more graphically. DOT Matrix games i'd recommend...

TOMMY
Attack From Mars
Twilight Zone
Theatre of Magic
Midievil Madness
Star Wars (Data East)
Austin Powers
Monopoly
GnR
Jack Bot

Like we were saying on Digital Press, Club Ninja's arcade has a Lego town in it. That automatically makes it 500 times cooler than any of your tricked-out Naomiwave 3 candycab-o-ramas.:tickled:

Thanks a ton for all of that pinball info. guys.

I've never even looked into it, so I'm a complete noob and will have to do some reading. Being an hour away from Atlanta by the end of the month will definitely fall in my favor though.;)
